Inside an unnamed institution, a group of individuals follows the same rigid routine day after day. At precisely 3 p.m., the game of musical chairs begins. Once the fight is over, the winner is crowned, given a piece of cake, and elevated to a position of prestige, until the ritual begins again the following day. Musical Chairs explores the fragile space between aspiration and submission, where the desire to be someone can overcome the freedom of being no one.
